What is Soul Fire?

Who's the Teacher?
Karina began studying the Craft in 1991 and entered Feri training in 1994. She attained a Third Road Initiation in 1997 and her Feri Initiation in 2002. Karina teaches internationally, in person and over distance on Feri, the Craft and skills for excellent self care. She is also available for private spiritual consultation and mentoring as well as providing Flower Essence Consultations . An ecstatic poet & writer, ordained Minister, Mother, lover, warrior and adventurer, she walks the razor's edge in pride and wonderment. Karina emphasizes ecstatic embodiment of Feri principles and practices in her life and her teachings.
Why the Different Costs?
Please choose your level of payment with care. Generally, the lowest end of the scale is reserved for those who are struggling financially. The highest end is for those who are regularly able to pay for "extras" (workshops, gym memberships, travel, etc.). Scholarships for those unable to handle tuition even at the base rate are made available through your voluntary donations. Class size is limited so as to develop and maintain intimacy between us. True pride is elegant and fierce. Sometimes called charisma, grandeur or brilliance, Pride calls attention to itself naturally and effortlessly. Healthy Pride is a fire burning bright within us which is uniquely our own. Fed by Passion, Power, Sex and Self, this fire burns clear and bright—illuminating all we do and are. It is Pride which allows us to identify ourselves as Divine. It is Pride which carries our Passion toward Power so it can be made manifest. In Pride we overcome the shame, fear and guilt which keep us mired in self-pity and inaction. In Pride, we draw upon our Sexual nature and deliver it to Self. In Pride we stand tall with clear eyes and magic on our tongues. Pride is a gift of the Peacock Lord. He calls to you now. Will you answer and receive?
Join us as we journey deep into the threefold nature of our Pride. Through reading, discussion, a variety of exercises and ritual magic we will endeavor to allow pride to arise in us and find expression in thought, word and deed. Of course, we will also explore how Pride connects to the other points on our Iron Pentacle— Power, Sex, Self and Passion—informing and shaping the whole while also being fed and fashioned by them. Iron Pentacle is a dynamic magical tool for the empowerment of the Feri Witch and through us, the world we engage with.

The Road to Faery
July 7 - August 18, 2010
Who are the Faery? Where do they reside? What is our relationship to/with them? In this seven week online intensive we will explore the realms, races, magics and mystery of the Faery. Through poetry, artwork,music, enchantment, trance journey and wild-walks, we'll come into contact with the Faery "out there" as well as our own Fey Nature.
This intensive includes some required reading--most of which is available for free online. Also required is your willingness to participate in class discussions as well as attend to the assigned work which will include outdoor activities, the setting up of a Faery Altar and your ability to set aside the insistent voice of the Rational Self for a time so as to enjoy the company of the Fey.

SHE: The Great Star Goddess and the Mirror of Creation
July 12 - September 6, 2010. Online Intensive.
SHE. Known by a thousand thousand names and yet her name is unspeakable. SHE. The seed pulsing darkly in the timeless, spaceless nothingness preceeding the created multiverse. SHE. Out of whose Holy Lust the worlds, the gods, the stars and spirits come forth. SHE. Most Holy and Sacred of Mysteries. SHE. Distant as the furthest galaxy. SHE. Close as breath coming into the body.
In this nine week online intensive we will work toward perceiving and communing with SHE who is the Creatrix, the Great Star Goddess. This intensive will include some required reading as well as exercises, meditations, breathwork, movement and ritual all focused on lifting the viels which keep us from knowing HER as God Herself as well as ourselves as Her. As SHE does, we will peer into the Mirror of Creation in order to bring forth our highest vision of our Selves.
When we move toward the Star Goddess, we are taking a larger view than the Earth-based traditions of paganism, moving toward a more Cosmic view of our own origins, magic and power/love.
