Early Intensive Training

Students meet in a group setting for an Intensive Training Weekend every six weeks. A great deal of material is covered over the course of a weekend. The six week break offers sufficient time to complete assignments, practice exercises, integrate energies and become proficient in the workings given during class. Between classes, students are in contact with me via telephone and e-mail and may schedule individual appointments. Early Intensive Training is offered in two Cycles, each lasting a minimum of 15 months.

Cycle One builds a strong foundational practice for Feri magic with an emphasis on the self development necessary for diving deep into the Mysteries of the Tradition. Upon completion, students will have a rich working practice that will open to reveal ever deepening layers of meaning and magic if delved into with continued desire, passion and sincerity. Cycle One’s curriculum can stand alone or serve as preparation for further training in the Black Heart Line.

Upon completion of Cycle One, if we are both in agreement that further training is appropriate at this time, the student will be invited to begin Cycle Two. Here, training emphasizes both the technological and devotional aspects of the Feri Craft as well as development of a powerful sense of hir own Work, setting goals and questing for personal Power, working intimately with our Guardians and honing the skills necessary for Circle Work.

Students completing the two Cycles of Early Intensive Training will receive a certificate of completion. At this point, students may opt to enter into a very individualized training (See Advanced Apprenticeship), take a break to integrate what you have learned thus far, work with another Feri teacher, or end Feri training altogether.

Feri Initiation is not considered at this level of training in the BlackHeart line, but may be part of your Path should you train at more advanced levels with me or another Feri teacher in the future.

Tuition: $80 per month.

After much consideration I have concluded that students who have completed some training with other Feri Initiates and who wish to pursue training in the Black Heart Line will be required to begin with Cycle One. This is to ensure that the subtle differences in emphasis and practice are recognized and embodied by the student. While I deeply honor the work you have already completed and intend no insult to you or your former teacher(s), Black Heart is fundamentally an Initiatory or Priesthood path. It is a long road and as your tour guide it is my responsibility to assure all the requirements are fully mastered. Having said that, allow me to reiterate that not all students who train in the Black Heart Line will work toward initiation.
