BlackHeart Feri Training

BlackHeart is a branch of Feri Tradition Witchcraft as developed, practiced and taught by Karina, a Feri Initiate. BlackHeart has a strong emphasis on embodied ecstatic experience, an intensely shamanic connection with the land, and personal relationship to our gods. Training is a rigorous process including the development of personal power and the responsibility that comes with it, communication with and possession by divinity in all Her/His/Our aspects, the development of a Warrior ethic coinciding with deeply Devotional work. With dedication, sincerity and commitment, training in the BlackHeart line can lead to Self-possession and the Black Heart of Innocence which are so integral to the path of the Feri Priest.

Training in the BlackHeart Line has been likened to taking a Master's level course load. There is a good deal of required reading and writing as well as assigned work which can take up to 90 minutes daily.

I offer three kinds of training. Early Intensive Training and Distance Training are appropriate for beginning Feri Training. Advanced Apprenticeships are just that — training for Feri students who have completed Cycles One and Two of Early Apprenticeship or the Distance Training curriculum and are working toward Feri Initiation.
