Policies

*In order to be considered for Feri training either in a Group setting or over Distance, you must:

1. Be over eighteen years of age.
2. Complete the Preliminary Interview in writing.
3. Understand that not all who apply will be accepted.

I will follow-up your Preliminary Interview with a more detailed interview.

• Pre-registration and deposit are required no less than 2 weeks prior to the start of training and then monthly.

• Distance Training Students must complete the following four tasks prior to receiving subsequent lessons:

1. A telephone appointment with me
2. Complete assignments included in current lesson
3. Return recorded materials (DVD) and written assignments via the mail
4. Remain current with tuition

• Class size is very limited. I often accept more students than I allow into class because invariably, someone cancels or cannot pay tuition. Early registration will hold your place.

• No refunds of deposits or tuition are given under any circumstance.

• Early Intensive Apprenticeship students meet every six weeks. Please make your Training your priority when planning your calendar. In extenuating circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule a weekend that you know well in advance you cannot attend.

• I ask that students training in the BlackHeart Line come to the experience with Beginner Mind. Just because you have read about Feri or even practiced some of its exercises on your own or with your friends does not mean that you understand the Current of power inherent in this tradition. Even though I have been practicing the Craft for many years and may know some things about other Craft traditions, if I were to train in another tradition, I would need to begin at the beginning in that trad.

• Feri is an oral Tradition. Although times have changed and much of what I teach in Early Intensive and Distance Training is available in published form or on-line, I am of the Old School and still require students to Vow Silence. This means that you will respect yourself and the work you are doing enough to hold it close. Class materials will not be photocopied or shared outside the circle of students you are training with. Failure to comply will serve as your notice that you voluntarily wish to terminate your training. A refund of tuition will not be made. Feri is not a topic for conversation. This is for your own protection as well as mine and anyone you might decide to share information with. "To Know, To Will, To Dare and To Keep Silent," are the powers of the Witch.

• Distance Students will sign a contract stating they will promptly return all recorded materials (DVD's and CD's) and that these, along with any written or photocopied materials I send you will not be copied, shared or distributed to anyone. Failure to comply with this contract will serve as your notice that you voluntarily wish to terminate your training. A refund of tuition will not be made. If you fail to return materials, you will be billed for them. This is for your own protection as well as mine and anyone you might decide to share information with.

• Feri Training includes processes where we closely examine our inner (and outer!) motivations, complexes, fears, sexuality, beliefs, pride, pleasures, passions and power. The group setting must be a safe space for this level of intimate sharing. Therefore, there are some behaviors that are not appropriate and will be addressed immediately should they appear within the context of the Intensive Weekend setting. These are: Intoxication (drugs or alcohol), Bullying, Sexual Harassment, Physical Aggression, and Habitual Dishonesty. One warning will be given. If inappropriate behaviors persist, I will consider it your notice that you wish to voluntarily terminate your training. A refund of tuition will not be made.
