Red Magic: Sex and the Feri Tradition

Feri Tradition places special emphasis on sexual purification and ecstasy. We open to the sexual nature of the universe by cleansing ourselves of complexes which disable us from receiving sensual input, making sexual connections, opening our bodies to pleasure, our hearts to love and our spirits to union with divinity. When we examine our souls we find we are burdened by ideological systems which desensitize our natural state of innocence. Shielded in an apathy born of over stimulation and busy-ness, armored in self-protective devices, buried under layers of guilt and shame, we cannot access deep connection to Life Force or the lascivious nature of the Black Heart.
Using exercises designed to help us release sexual fear, shame and guilt from the sticky hands of the Fetch coupled with work to assist us in slipping beneath the persona (ego-aspect of the Talker), we will access the Personal God so we might learn how to love ourselves in all our parts. Through connection with our own divinity, we reach beyond the Three-Souled Self and into the infinite, swirling, sexual nature of the Star Goddess and all creation.
Red Magic opens us to the uninhibited sexual nature of the Feri Witch and the universe in which we live move and have our being! All creation/manifestation is sexual. Everything created and made manifest is sexual. The laws of attraction are sexual. Our gods are sexual. Our relationship to our personal god is sexual. And, ultimately, our relationships with one another are sexual—even if they do not include actions between physical bodies traditionally defined as sex.
The mystery of Red Magic is deep. There is profound healing leading to tremendous power to be had here! Together, we will carefully create a container for this work by building altars, cleansing and charging the space, aligning our Triple Souls and making Kala for that which stands in the way of this Work. We will feed the Guardian of the group mind as well as make appropriate offerings for exploring this path safely.
Through Soul Alignment and Kala, coupled with discussion, poetry, movement, Pentacle work (Iron, Pearl and Gold), Creation Story work, guided meditation, trance, journaling, partnered and group exercises, we will invoke a state of sexual purification and celebrate our true nature. Standing in the innocence of our Black Hearts we will receive its mysterious wisdom deep into our cellular structure, relishing our sexuality and our enduring partnership with the Creative Force.
By the end of this weekend intensive, students will have experienced and gained many tools for sexual purification as well as spells/exercises to deepen self-love which is the greatest attraction spell there is. At the weekend's culmination, we will create and empower a Red Magic Talisman.
It is suggested that workshop participants have experience with some foundational Feri practices, specifically, Three-Soul Alignment and the Kala Rite. Other important skills include grounding, a sense of self-responsibility, respect for the group mind as well as for individual participants. It is important to state that no participant is required to engage in physical sex during the course of this workshop! Boundaries will be respected. There is a materials list for this class.
